Israel Teaching Fellows was truly the defining moment in my post-college transformation. To have the opportunity to make a difference every day in the lives of so many children was the single most rewarding experience I could have ever asked for. Spending one year in Israel certainly rekindled my spark and encouraged me to pursue bigger goals for myself.

As an Israel Experience Israel Teaching Fellow, I not only lived in central Rishon Letzion, Israel but I really felt like I became an active member of Israeli society as a whole. I worked with an amazingly passionate group of teachers and saw how our work directly shaped the minds of Israel's future. In addition, I got a chance to work with Israel's most widely distributed Spanish journal and got to see first-hand what running a business in Israel was like. We also attended Hebrew Ulpan to better communicate with Israelis, explored all parts of Israel on amazing tiyulim (trips) and integrated ourselves into Israeli society. The program got us all living, working, and playing in Israel from the first day we arrived. I loved my time in Israel and will always look back fondly on my decision to be an Israel Experience Israel Teaching Fellow!
