USY Poland Seminar for Adults

July 4-11, 2017

Since 1986, USY has taken thousands of teens to Poland on the Israel Pilgrimage/Poland Seminar and Eastern Europe/Israel Pilgrimage.

Now, parents, alumni, and other interested adults have the opportunity to share in the unique experience of spending a week in Poland with USY.

USY’s Poland Seminar for Adults will be guided by Jules A. Gutin, former International USY Director, founder of the USY Israel Pilgrimage/Poland Seminar, and Tour Educator for this summer’s USY trips to Poland.

Highlights:

  • Tours through the cities of Warsaw, Krakow, Lublin, and Lodz, as well as smaller towns along the route
  • Visits to Concentration Camp sites in Majdanek, Auschwitz/Birkenau, and Treblinka
  • Visits to synagogues and other Jewish Historical sites from the middle ages through the 20th century

About us

The trip will be led by Jules Gutin who served as the International Director of USY for twenty-two years, and as a member of the USY staff for over 20 years before becoming Director. He was instrumental in creating the USY Israel Pilgrimage/Poland Seminar in 1986 and has been guiding groups of teens, college students and adults there for over thirty years
