Masa Israel Teaching Fellows

Program Summary

Masa Israel Teaching Fellows with Israel Experience

Teach. Live. Learn.

Everyone remembers that one teacher who made a difference — the one who truly cared, inspired, and believed in them. Now it’s your turn to be that person.

Masa Israel Teaching Fellows (MITF) with Israel Experience is a 10-month English teaching fellowship for Jewish college graduates who want to make an impact. As a fellow, you’ll help close the educational achievement gap by teaching English in elementary and middle schools across cities like Bat Yam, Rishon LeZion, Tel Aviv, and Beit She’an.

You’ll receive over 100 hours of teacher training, work at least 20 hours a week in classrooms, take part in Hebrew language classes, volunteer in your host community, and experience Israel through seminars, trips, and cultural immersion.

The program is a joint initiative of the Israeli Ministry of Education and Masa Israel Journey. Fellows receive significant financial support to help make this experience accessible and meaningful.

Make a real difference — in your students’ lives, in Israel, and in your own.
